About Us
The W202 Store is a personal heart project of a W202 motorsport enthusiast.
The journey began in 2015 with the decision to build a racing car based on the W202 in order to take part in VFV GLPpro competitions. With the entry into this racing series in 2017 under the name CZS Motorsport and the first completed racing events, a deep passion for this Mercedes-Benz series was born.
However, the chosen path proved to be difficult for various reasons:
- The turbo diesel engine concept is unusual for racing and there is little information on comparable projects
- Basic model W202 unusual for racing and little information available on comparable projects
- The number of available tuning and performance parts for this series is rather poor
Due to these points, the chosen path became a tough school in terms of development and the requirements for motorsport-oriented parts for this series.
Due to the activities in motorsport and tuning, there was a professional stopover in the professional environment for performance-oriented conversions on classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles from 2020 to 2023.
In the course of 2023, the decision to create a motorsport-related but still roadworthy product portfolio, specially tailored to the 202 series, became firmer. These products are intended to enable W202 enthusiasts to highlight the sporting potential of this series.
