Mercedes W202 C208 R170 345mm AMG brake system set front axle

This brake system kit for the front axle of your Mercedes-Benz W202, C208 CLK and R170 SLK allows you to convert to the powerful 345mm brake system from models such as W203 C30 AMG, C32 AMG Kompressor.

Since the W203 has brake calipers positioned at the rear of the axle, rather than at the front like the W202, they can't actually be transferred directly to the W202. Otherwise, the order of the large and small brake pistons would be reversed, and the brake pads would wear at an angle over time. Using our expertise and the utmost care, we have rebuilt the brake calipers for this set so that they can now be installed on the aforementioned models without the problem of brake pads wearing at an angle.

The same applies to the brake discs, which originally didn't have a suitable mounting hole for the W202 hub. Only in our brake system kit are the brake discs prepared to fit the W202 wheel hub.

Important information for assembly:

• We expressly point out that this brake system kit may only be installed by trained specialists!
• Depending on the original model, the splash guard may also need to be replaced. Experience shows that those from the W202 C43 AMG fit without modification.
• To ensure adequate distribution of braking power across the axles, this brake kit should definitely be paired with a W202 C43 AMG brake system on the rear axle.
• The same applies to the master cylinder. Master cylinders of size 25/22 can only be used in models with dual-chamber brake boosters. To ensure adequate pedal travel and pressure point, we strongly recommend using a master cylinder of the above-mentioned size.
