We also offer the coupling rod of our high-quality short shifter separately. This allows you to create your own shifting mechanisms for the 6-speed conversion on your classic Mercedes-Benz. The swing of the coupling rod ensures the optimal distance to the Hardy disc and the tight tolerances enable a play-free and extremely direct shifting feel. The slotted hole pattern offers a variety of connection options. High-quality materials and precise workmanship also ensure a long service life and an attractive appearance.
Ideal gearboxes for this conversion are, for example, 716.653 to 716.657. For this conversion, please also read our conversion instructions in the “Tuning Guides” section. The coupling rod can also be connected to the frequently used BMW ZF transmission.
