Mercedes W202 C208 R170 Rear Axle Differential Mounting Bushing Kit

This bearing set for the rear axle differential of your Mercedes-Benz W202, C208 CLK, R170 SLK, or W210 allows for the renewal of the suspension components between the differential and the rear axle carrier.

The original caps, which serve as stops for the hydraulic mounts when the rear axle is under extreme load, are no longer available from Mercedes. Furthermore, in their original form, they offer a relatively high range of motion, which increases comfort but reduces sportiness. Especially in vehicles with increased performance, the twisting of the differential in the rear axle carrier should be restricted more firmly, as this can otherwise have a negative impact on the service life of the flex disc and drive shafts.

Our newly designed stop caps, manufactured from high-quality aluminum and equipped with a firmer rubber insert, restrict the differential's freedom of movement by approximately 30% more compared to the original, thereby contributing to increased sportiness and durability under high loads.
