Mercedes M111 copper cylinder head gasket

Special copper cylinder head gasket for the Mercedes M111 engine. This is used at extremely high boost pressures and combustion temperatures. The annealing process automatically gives the material a weathered look, which in no way impairs its function. Annealing is essential to normalize the crystalline structure of the copper. Only then can the material adapt perfectly to the two sealing surfaces during assembly.

Suitable for all vehicles with M111 engine, eg Mercedes W124, W202, C208, W210.

Technical details:

• Engine: M111 EVO or non EVO
• Application: Extremely high boost pressures and combustion temperatures
• Seal thickness: 2mm
• Bore: 91.5mm
• Material: Annealed copper alloy

Instructions for assembly:

• Both sealing surfaces should be planned and prepared as for an MLS seal
  
• Both sides of the gasket should be coated with a bonding agent such as "VHT Copper Gasket Cement".
• Tighten the screws or stud bolts according to the manufacturer's specifications
• Bring engine up to operating temperature, allow to cool, then retighten screws or studs
