Mercedes M111 M104 OM606 M113 SMF Motorsport Flywheel

This lightweight single mass flywheel (SMF) is the perfect basis for transmitting increased engine torque and reducing rotating mass in your Mercedes conversion project.

It was particularly important to us that it could be used on a wide range of engines. Interchangeable trigger wheels allow for use with OEM engine control units or freely programmable control units.

The weight of the flywheel is chosen to be equally suitable for gasoline and diesel engines, as well as track tools that are also driven daily. Not too heavy to achieve a significant gain in rev-happiness, yet not too light to cause unnecessarily strong gear rattle at idle.

For operation, you need the Sachs Performance pressure plate 883082 001422 and a 240mm clutch disc with 8.0 - 8.3mm lining thickness. The Sachs 1422 significantly outperforms the well-known Sachs 765 pressure plate. We recommend the following components:

• Pressure plate: Sachs Performance 883082 001422
• Organic sprung: LUK 324020611
• Organic rigid: SACHS 1864 528 442
• Sintered metal rigid: Schlüter KEN-1-1-8X26-240-6 or Sachs 881864 001735
• Sintered metal sprung: Available in our shop

Suitable for:

M102, M103, M104, M111, M112, M113, OM601, OM602, OM603, OM604, OM605, OM606, OM611, OM612, OM613, etc. on 5-speed (short input shaft) or 6-speed (716.64X, 716.65X, 711.670, etc.)

Important notes: If you order a variant with a magnet in the signal ring, please note that we require this from you beforehand. Please send us either the magnet separately, or the old flywheel or the old starter ring gear as a whole. There are combinations of engines and transmissions that require shimming of the release bearing. This affects various 5-speed transmissions, the 711.670 and possibly others. Please check the movement range of the release bearing BEFORE installation.

Choose from the following options for the trigger wheels:

• 60-2 (As on M111, M113, OM611 from year of manufacture 1996)
• 2 segments with or without magnet (As on M102, M111 before year of manufacture 1996)
• 3 segments with or without magnet (As on M103, M104)
• 5 teeth (As on OM602, OM605)
• 6 teeth (As on OM603, OM606)
• Without trigger wheel

• Universal bolt pattern, also suitable for 4x2 bolt pattern on M113

• High-strength screws for mounting the flywheel
• High-strength screws for mounting the pressure plate
