This 71°C tropical thermostat for your Mercedes M111 engine will solve temperature problems. These engines, especially after 30 years of service, often run close to 100°C operating temperature. This leaves little buffer zone to absorb the increased thermal stress during periods of high load. Furthermore, consistently high operating temperatures negatively affect components of the cooling system and the cylinder head gasket.
