This inlet pipe piece can be retrofitted to the lower half of the original air filter box of your Mercedes-Benz W202 or C208 CLK with little effort and allows more air flow through the air filter box. Due to the positioning and channeling of the additional inlet pipe, cold ambient air is sucked in and not the unfavorable accumulated heat from the engine compartment.
The original air filter box becomes a noticeable restrictor from an air flow rate that is required for approx. 220-230 HP. This phenomenon was already registered back then by AMG, which modified the air filter box for the C36 AMG in a similar way.
Suitable for all models with the corresponding lower half of the original air filter box. Eg:
W202: C180, C200, C200K, C200D, C200CDI, C220, C220D, C220CDI, C230, C230K, C240, C250D, C250TD, C280
C208: CLK200, CLK200K, CLK230K

Note: To install the pipe, holes must be drilled in the lower half of the original air filter box. These are therefore irreversible modifications that should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Please watch our corresponding assembly video before assembly.
